I come across with a touchy and commendable act of humanity about an intermediate teacher who has a golden heart of helping those who are least privilege of their life. This a matter of an Act of adoption for real or not?
1. The Bible says what you've done to the least of your brethren, you've done it to Jesus too.
2. There are people who really do care for their fellow beings without counting the cost.
3. This kind of attitude is seldom could be found from any person, especially without taking back what has been offered in return.
4. And I know everyone would agree with me that this is very rare indeed.
5. At around 9 kilometers from the city proper of Kabankalan, Negros Occidental, Tabugon Elementary School has a benevolent male teacher who had adopted pupils in school.
6. This young man was teaching for almost 7 years and had a promising lad who possessed a good academic standing in most of his subjects.
7. This lad topped his first grading examination with the highest score in English, Science and Filipino.
8. With such "strong mental capacity", he became a favorite of his teacher and wanted him to be adopted too.
9. It was fitting and appropriate for his teacher to do so for is poor, lacks his parent's guidance and with no proper direction in life.
10. With such dismal scenario, Angelo Arquillo Aldohesa might be deprived of a bright future if not supported for his financial and educational needs later life.
11. Grade Six, section Jupiter adviser, Sir Marcus Vulkan (not his real name) wanted to adopt him and would provide all his needs for the entire year.
12. Sir Marcus would let Angelo send to a Maritime School when in college someday.
13. How many among our midst like Angelo? And how many among us too like Sir Marcus?

If you look close enough, there are people in our midst who did and doing good deeds like 'Sir Marcus' in your story. They seek out the 'Angelo's in their community and helped them out. I know a few just like this in my home church, stay blessed!
What an honorable thing to do. Things like this helps restore my faith in humanity.
Kindness these days are rare, so an act like this is very precious. I may not be able to adopt another kid but I make sure I do right by the people around me.
Have faith in humanity... people like this professor show us that people are still good. A lot would like to help but perhaps they are just not informed how. I hope to find more people like this professor.
Actually, there are a lot of people like Sir Marcus in my circle. It's just that they don't broadcast it and they don't want it broadcasted when some find out about good deeds such as this.
"That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly."
Matthew 6:4 KJV
People who have reached Self Actualization are those who are able to do this to other people without thinking of anything in return. Indeed, only a few people are able to do deeds like this to others.
If you know who you are, you know your purpose. A person like him has a character of integrity.
Ok, I'm not a christian, so all these are pretty foreign to me. But to me, religion is to do go, be kind and be happy.
This is such a beautiful thing. I wish we could all be just as enlightened! :D
Sounds like I should have a deep thought now. Thanks for sharing such inspiring post.
Amen!!! The world needs more Good Samaritan just like Sir Marcus. These people have grand rewards waiting for them in heaven.
It's inspiring to see people like Marcus who gives deserving students a better chance by adopting him. It's also nice to see someone bring back the trust in him by doing good in school.

I got confused by the word "touchy" in the first sentence of this piece? Are you in favor of these adoptions? As long as the intentions of the donors are pure and altruistic, then the adoptions are okay. These are orphans, right?
Its inspiring piece of sharing. Hopefully the world will be filled with selflessness and peace.
I have adopted many in my own context of adoption. Nothing is more important for me than letting other people feel that they are blessed and loved. I bless this person with a big heart, a rich person indeed, is not the one with a fat bank account, but the who has a big heart.
I needed those words today. You are so bless with your decisions. Thank you for keeping us inspiring
